Team USA’s Dave Grubel and Boca turned in an impressive 51-point run and finished 7th in the Snooker Medium class. Cynthia Hornor and Spice also got 51 points and was just behind Dave in 8th place. In the large dog class, Elicia Calhoun and Tobie also earned 51 points and finished in 6th place, with Desiree Snelleman and Pace’s 50-point run coming in 8th. Good job Team USA!

Jumping Biathlon

Scores from Jumping Biathlon will be combined with Standard Biathlon for Biathlon medals. Awards are not given for winning either of the single Biathlon classes. Still, finishing in the top placements in these classes is quite impressive. Congratulations to the winners!

Team USA’s Abigail Beasley and Dreamer finished in 10th place in the Small Dog class. Stacy Peardot-Goudy and SoBe were 10th in the Medium Dog class, with Dave Grubel and Boca and Cynthia Hornor and Spice close behind. Way to go!

Agility Triathlon

The Agility Triathlon is one of three classes that, when combined, form the Team Triathlon. There are no individual medals in the Agility Triathlon class but placements are still important and helpful for their teams. Congratulations to all the winners!

Team USA’s Stacy Peardot-Goudy and Sobe made it into the top 10 with an 8th place finish. 

Large Dogs

Team USA’s Elicia Calhoun and Tobie finished in 7th place and Desiree Snelleman was just a few tenths of a second behind Elicia in 8th.

Agility Individual and All Round

Agility Individual and All Round is an individual medal class that is also a part of the All Round competition. Congratulations to all the medalists!

Team USA’s Janet Dunn and Torment finished 5th, Linda Womer and Sonic were 7th, and Monique Plinck and Tiki were 10th. Papillon power!

Small Dogs

Team USA’s Mike Padget and Elsie finished in 5th place, and Giuliana Lund and Zuri were 11th.

Medium Dogs

  2. Kayl McCann and Grand Slam (Canada)
  3. Harry Vrieling and Ten (Netherlands)

Jeannine Doepke and Jill were the top Team USA finishers in this class, coming in 6th. Laurie Zurborg and Gem, Dave Grubel and Boca, and Cynthia Horner and Spice all finished in the top 15 (12th, 14th, and 15th, respectively).

Large Dogs

Team USA’s Elicia Calhoun and Tobie were just out of the medals in 4th place. The Bronze winner had a time of 38.48 and Elicia and Tobie finished in 38.73. So close! Desiree Snelleman and Pace were 10th with a smoking time of 37.14 but they had one fault. Jody Lolich and Skillz had a similarly speedy run (38.16) but also earned a fault, to wind up in 12th place.

All Round is a medal given based on scores in several individual agility classes. Congratulations to all the competitors who medaled in this category, showing their versatility and consistency of performance.
