Kathy and her 5-year-old border collie, Fargo, are proud to represent Team USA at the 2019 IFCS World Championships. Kathy and Fargo are returning to Team USA for their second year. In addition to an incredible 8 USDAA Regional Championship wins in 2018, and being named the 26” Dog Versatility Dog of the Year (2016), Masters Challenge Standard Dog of the Year (2018), and Masters Gamblers Dog of the Year (2016, 2018), Kathy and Fargo captured an individual silver medal in Gamblers for Team USA at the 2018 IFCS World Championships. Kathy’s expertise in team events has been developed over her career as a longtime USDAA and IFCS competitor. She and her previous teammate, Houston, were Dog Agility Masters Champions at Cynosport in 2002, individual bronze medalists in the IFCS Standard Class in 2004, as well as members of the 2004 IFCS gold-medal team. In 1999, Kathy and her dog Dory also captured the Dog Agility Masters Championships at Cynosport. “This year, I am looking forward to representing our country well & leaving with no regrets (but maybe leaving with a few medals instead!!!!). I’m also looking forward to the opening ceremonies where I can wear my new flashing patriotic shoes & hat, along with Fargo & my matching shades.” IFCS Team USA is generously supported by donations to the United States Association of Cynological Sports.
